1/3 My foster mom tells me it's time for my update so here it goes. I love treats of all kinds. I love my foster humans or any humans that come to visit me, my tail goes a waggin! Lately I prefer my human sisters bed she’s got a huge king bed she never even knows I’m there he he. I’m eating 2 meals a day morning and late afternoon my foster mom tells me it's not good to eat late at night and go to bed ! I had some company yesterday they made this huge turkey dinner and I was a good boy I waited on the floor till everyone was done I got a bit out of my foster mom but not much, then I got comfy on this big guys lap oh he loved petting me I showed my foster family what a perfect gentleman I can be!! My foster mom tells me I’m still on the quiet side but hey that’s just me. Ok enough for now My foster Grammy bought me and my foster fur sister these cute x-mas stockings with treats and I’m sorry I cant wait bark at ya later I will have to thank Santa Paws for these treats he he.

11/15 Hi all Choppy is doing Awesome here at his foster home .We have had no problems with him what so ever!
He has a heart of gold and sweetest disposition I have ever seen , he's a solid boy he went for a check up yesterday
and weighs 78lb solid. Most Boxers have had there tails cropped Choppy does not I have attached a pic of him
just because he has a tail does not take away the Boxer that he is or looks like he's all Boxer with smiles to give!

10/15 Hi all Choppy is doing great , he's got out of his shell and finally relaxed enough to say hey I like these
people here I'm safe and I'm loving my new routine. Choppy has been left alone for about 6 hours a day
he was fine no accidents, I do need to make sure there's nothing he can at such as trash, food etc.
When I get home in the afternoon we bee line for the door and play for a good 20 minutes do my business
then its off to pick up kids at school, when in the car my head has to be out the window and I get nice and
comfy . Chop is eating great 3 x's a day and is happy with that.  At night he sleeps on my daughters
bedroom floor and a couple of times he did get up to snuggle, he's not a big furniture sitter he would rather not.
He does sit and give you his paw but is still stubborn with down. When walking he pulls but after a few tugs
will settle. When we had visitors he does jump he is made to sit and the visitor has given a treat to him
this approach has worked in the past so we are reintroducing this for him. He has greeted all dogs with tail
wagging no problems there , he has played endless hours with my children . We do have some birds in
the house and boy they get up chirping I watch him closely he just is like ok there in a cage I'm safe. Not
sure about cats he did see one in the car and got very excited .Choppy is thriving in a routine and feeling
a lot better about life that he was . He's a very loving dog who in return just wants that same love. Choppy is
still  young and does like to play and can still show he's a pup I caught him twice getting up to the counter
he was told down and did walk away I haven't seen that behavior in a couple of days . Choppy has recovered
fast from his neuter and is in great health . His favorite game outside is chasing empty bottles and running
faster than his foster sister who is keeping up with him for her age , they do play box  hence the breed
Boxer  which is great play for them its truly amazing to watch. Choppy is a very handsome guy who
is waiting for his forever home .It did take a few weeks for him to trust us  but I think he's finally comfy here
and will put his head in my lap and sigh , the look in his eyes the day I picked him up was so sad
he was very depressed and infested with fleas and a undetected ear infection , he is now free of all that
and thriving , he makes us   :)   Everyday!

I've attached a picture of his favorite sleeping position.

10/6 Hi it's just me Choppy my mom says I'm a really good boy! She says I'm pretty mello Boxer but I still love to play and run after my fur sister. I have no aggression at all with food or toys and I share everything. I had my neuter last week and they tell me I have a ear infection which my foster mom tells me I have to have put drops in my ears every day for 7 days.  I'm friendly with everyone I meet but my foster mom tells me I have to stop jumping on them I'm trying but its so hard I just want them to say hi to me. She also tells me I have to stop pulling so much when we walk and I'm not supposed to jump up on the cars in the parking lots to see whose in there, but when I'm in my yard I am pretty good and don't tug at all . I LOVE the car and I LOVE to stick my head out the window I don't really jump around much I just want my head out the window to see what ups out there! My mom says I am going to make a wonderful companion to a great family, are you that family? I don't like the crate at all but I'm fine in the house when left alone. I really think it would be great to have a fur sister or fur brother to grow and play with .That's all for now talk to you soon! Gotta go play with my humans for awhile I really like the kids here we have fun!  Woof Woof Choppy :)

9/22 Choppy has arrived to his foster home. Choppy so far has a mello attitude. All intros to the kids and my girl boxer went very well.  This sweet boy was covered in fleas after a dose of medicine and flea bath and an other next
we will be all set ! Choppy will be off to our vet next week for a health visit and his neuter. Choppy knows how to sit and give paw , he has done all his business outside so far :) He is eating well and drinking. He loves to play with his fur sister and toys . Choppy has one of the best attitudes I've come across he's a quiet guy so far so well see how he does in the upcoming weeks. He's great in the car and will just lay down and snooze. Watch for updates after his vet check and neuter.

Choppy is a gorgeous brindle male boxer with full boxer tail, coming into rescue due to a divorce in his original home.  Very friendly guy but needs some leash work. Gets along fine with other dogs is excitable but playful, although he does sometimes like to mount other dogs but once he is neutered that should help curb that habit a little. He is not crate trained but does fine left in a dog proof area of the house provided he is not left for extended periods of time.

Watch for updates once we secure a foster home and get to know Choppy.
