Mabel - Female Boxer
Requirements for this dog:

Needs fenced in yard and compatible canine companion, older kids only

For more information on this dog read his bio below

12/8 Mabel is doing great at her foster home.  At first she was unsure of everything but now she has settled in and began to respond to a feeding schedule and has started to show typical boxer playfulness.  She is housebroken but not crate trained.  The crate is in the bedroom when they go to bed at night and she has checked it out but isn't a fan of getting in it.  Mabel loves human affection, her foster parents have nicknamed her "Tag" because she is always tagging along with them EVERYWHERE THEY GO!  Her antibiotics are almost finished for kennel cough, she hasn't had any coughing or sneezing in a very long time.

Mable is a deaf female boxer that found herself in a kill shelter, fortunately we were able to spring her before her time was up.  Mabel is a sweet girl who is underweight and lost even more weight during her time at the shelter due to the stress, she is currently recuperating in a temporary foster home and will need to be moved to a longer term foster home in time.  She is being treated for kennel cough but should be feeling better soon.  When she is healthier she will be spayed.  She appears to have been bred at least once possibly even more.

Mable appears to be fine with other dogs. Due to the fact that  she is deaf she will need home with a fenced in yard and another compatible canine companion to be her ears.  For more information on living with a deaf dog visit www.deafdogs.org
