Moose - Male Boxer
Requirements for this dog:

Older kids only , needs to be only pet, new owner must have boxer/working dog experience

For more information on this dog read his bio below.

4/8 Note from trainer:  Moose is a very sweet and responsive dog.  He is living in a kennel environment and is bonding nicely with the handlers.  He has mastered his basic commands of sit, down, place, heel and loose leash walking.  He plays off leash with up to 20 dogs at one time and he does great.  However, in the training room he does show a tendency to want to go after certain other dogs while he is on leash.  A firm correction gets him back on track.  Therefore, the new owner should be firm, but fair.  The trainer will be happy to show off Moose in his play group. He will give one free training session with new owner and Moose to ensure a seamless transition to his new home.

3/8 Moose is currently working with a trainer regarding some of his issues. It has been determined that he is quite dog aggressive. We feel this is more so because of his extreme lack of socialization. The trainer believes he is making great strides when it comes to his trust of people. Moose will need a special home. Someone who is a strong leader and possesses that quality 24/7. Boxer/working dog experience is a must. We also feel that for now, Moose would do best as an only pet although we do feel that with continued and positive socialization, that could change, but not right now. He is a wonderful dog that we feel is just misunderstood. Moose truly qualifies as a "rescue" dog. His new home must be willing to accept and work with him and give this great boy the life he deserves.

Moose is a gorgeous white male boxer, very sweet and friendly.  He is not crate trained but we will work on that once we secure a foster home for him.  No history with small kids so he will only be placed with older kids.  He has had very limited socialization with other dogs so we are unsure at this point how he is with other dogs, we will learn more about this also once we get him into foster care.

Watch for updates.
