| Otis - Male Boxer |
| Requirements for this
dog:
Good with other dogs and cats, no small kids. For More information on this dog please read her bio below. |
5/3 Otis is doing great here. He gets along well with my
senior girl. He's doing great when eating 2 times a day although he needs more
meat
on his bones. He has been neutered and is recovered so I'm sure the weight will
start coming.
Crate training lets see he's not digging yet. So when we leave
him alone we just give free roam of 2 rooms and has done fine . If you do not
allow dogs on your furniture Otis is not the dog for you as he loves to snuggle
and cuddle right next to you or on top of you :) He's housetrained and does well
on a leash. LOVES the car ride and will stick his head out the window
the whole time. He's done great in public he knows sit and we are working on
lay. I really cant thing of anything fresh he does , he doesn't get in the trash
or
counter surf . The one thing he does do that needs to stop is when he's playing
he just don want to stop so no little ones :( Other than that I have seen no
aggression only a little dominance over my female the first couple days that's
gone I haven't seen that since he first came. Otis will make a faithful
loving companion for a home that is looking for a forever friend.
4/18 Otis has arrived at his foster home. Our female is smitten with him already ! He is a handsome, affectionate, and so far well behaved boy. Loved the car ride was great in the car . He will be spending the night at my sons baseball game walking the trails. He loves to be brushed :) Watch for more updates on him as we get him to the vet to be neutered and get to know him more.
Otis is a very active male boxer who will need a home where he will get lots of daily exercise perhaps with a compatible canine companion to play with and burn off some of that energy. He will also need an owner willing to work with him and teach him some better manners. He is very sweet and affectionate. Does well with other dogs and cats. Due to his energy level he would be best with older kids.
He is housebroken but not currently crate trained, however we will be working on that in his foster home.
Watch for updates as we get to know him.
