Riley - Deaf Male Boxer
Requirements for this dog:

Needs a home where someone is home more often than not, needs fenced in yard and compatible canine companion

For more information on this dog please read his bio below.

12/9 Riley is doing great in his foster home.  He is making great strides with his potty and crate training.  He is very smart and quickly learned that he needs to sit before he can have a treat.  He loves to cuddle with my resident boxers or with my son.  In typical puppy fashion he plays hard and sleeps hard.  Overall he is a very sweet and loving little puppy.

11/28  Riley is doing great, very sweet and gentle.   He is very skinny and very interested in food.  My intention is to feed him three little meals a day. We are working on crate training but he is very vocal when voicing his dislike of the crate that will change as he gets used to it.  He has had several accidents but it's part of the learning process.  I'm sure he's confused why each time he squats inside he ends up being rushed outside! There's nothing like puppy breath to make up for the extra use of Windex!

Fenway is coming into rescue with his 12 week old littermate Riley.  Both boys are deaf.  After a trip to our vet they headed off to their separate foster homes where they are settling in.

As these boys are just pups we will be looking for homes where someone is home most of the day to work on housebreaking etc.  Also due to the fact that they are deaf they will need homes with a fenced in yard and another compatible canine companion to be their ears.  For more information on living with a deaf dog visit www.deafdogs.org
