8/23 They settled into our family very well, my 3 year old absolutely adores Maggie (loves them both so much but Maggie is his Girl!). The first night they did settle down and bugged me at about 3:00 am so I let them out and then they went right back to sleep. A lot going on and they did drink lots of water too so they had to pee again I'll bet. Every night since completely fine, they both fit onto the doggie bed I have in there. Hilarious to see the both of them on there but they made a perfect fit. We will be buying a second one though. They are eating very well and I did get them each a cow ear for a treat and they chewed on them a little but don't seem to know what to do with them, guess they are not chewers!

They both have the habit of counter surfing, we'll get through that but Savado did discover the butter dish and I had just buttered some toast and left it uncovered and fortunately there was only about a tablespoon or two left but he cleaned it off! Not great but not too harmful, now I know! They LOVE the big fenced yard, Maggie has more interest in some toys but Savado just likes to run.
Off to the campsite for 2 nights on Friday. Lots to see and smell, very good behavior and lots of attention. We were told how well behaved they were, how adorable they were, and everyone seems to just love Boxer's! We talked a lot about Boxer Buddies and I think some of the people will check it out. Maggie liked the water, went right in with me and Evan but not Savado, no interest.
We find them to be extra loving and very smart, a perfect balanced pair together, I could never imagine them to be separated. On the ride home from the campsite they laid in the back seat taking turns cleaning each others faces! They are very sweet to each other. I have never had a female dog and I do find little differences with Maggie, she stays a little closer to me and my son. When one of us goes outside or away to the store, it takes Maggie a little while to relax, she likes her pack together I guess.

They do show a bit of uncertainty when a stranger comes to the house (which I love), make someone think twice. But they truly are angels, never any aggression once they see it's okay by us. It hasn't even been 2 weeks and it feels like we have been together forever! One more camping weekend, this time family is meeting us there for the weekend so they will meet new friends. We fold the couch down and they sleep on there and the AC keeps us all comfy if needed. I seem to have a problem going through a day without taking pictures of them, they are ALWAYS doing something cute. We have a large window in the living room that is very low and they often spend time looking outside.

Savado and Maggie are coming into rescue as their current family are unable to give them the time, attention and exercise that they need.  They are very sweet friendly dogs who know some basic commands.  They get along well with other dogs, and are great with small kids.  They have always lived together and we will be looking to place them together as they are very bonded to each other.  They are used to a fenced in yard. They are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Watch for updates once we secure a foster home and get to know them more.
