3/8 Just a note to let you know how Skyla is doing. She was a busy girl yesterday.  Every environmental noise got her attention.  She played will with all her toys and the left over ones from my last dog.  She cried a lot yesterday and not knowing her scheduled and I took her out... a lot!  She ate her food at 3:00 in the afternoon and today had a morning and evening feeding today.  She seems to eat all at once and does not graze.  She settled in nicely to sleep on the bed, right in the middle, leaving me a sliver of bed.  She adapted well to the couch as well. She is much calmer today, seeming like she is comfortable with the noises and settling into the routine.  IA friend brought over her 15 month old baby and Skyla was rather calm.  The baby did not get knocked over.  They even played with Skyla's ball.  I left Skyla alone with free roam of the house while I went to the grocery store and when I came back everything was fine.  The dog sitter met Skyla today and plans to walk her twice a day. So far everything is going real well.

Skyla is a gorgeous brindle female boxer that is coming into rescue as her owner is moving and cannot take her.  She is very sweet and has lots of energy and needs a home where she will get lots of daily exercise. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.  Skyla is crate trained but also does well left home alone with free roam.  She does not have a history with small kids or cats.    She is not good with other dogs and will need to be placed as an only dog.
