Although you may not be able to adopt this dog, you can help us care for him while he is in foster care! Even a donation of $5 will help us with vet care, food, etc.
7/23 I feel that T-Bone should be
placed with either a submissive male/female canine
companion. In our home we had a dominant female boxer
as a foster. Before that dominant female came and
after she left T-Bone was a different dog. It seems
like T-Bone felt over-powered by her and did not feel
he could be himself. While that female was here
T-Bone wasn't as playful or as vocal. I think
now that she is gone he feels more comfortable with
being himself (which is a more interesting dog).
T-Bone still LOVES to be outside and will on occasion
bark at us when we try to get him back in the
house...a cookie will always do the trick to get him
back in though. Cookies are his weakness!!! T-Bone
is a very layed back guy and not very needy...but will
jump at the chance to get all the attention one is
willing to give him. He really is a Great boy and
anyone who adopts this great guy will be super
lucky!!!!
6/11 Everyone who meets T-Bone loves him!! He is a good boy on a leash, but likes to stop occasionally for no specific reason. He does not pull or anything, he walks right beside us. T-Bone loves to lay on our bed with us...he is such a big cutie. He also likes to play tug with his toys with us and the other dogs. He is full of energy and loves to run laps in the yard! T-Bone is ready for his forever home!! 5/14 Bone is a big cuddler and loves to be the center of attention, which he deserves to be! He loves to hang around outside and just lay in the dirt/grass. He will let you know he wants to hang outside in his own vocal way...he will whine until we let him out and he does not need to go to the bathroom, he just wants to graze in the yard. He is a very vocal boy and loves to talk to us! T-Bone loves his toys, he is always chewing on one.. if he is not sleeping. On occasion he will randomly jump on the couch as if to say "Here I am, pay attention to me." He also likes to sleep on our bed w/my other two boxers and cuddle w/them as well. He absolutely LOVES to play with us and our dogs, he is an active boy and needs lots of exercise. He is a big baby! 4/27 T-Bone is a great dog!! He has blended right in with our other two boxers and is a perfect gentleman! He sits, gives paw, and actually brings the ball back when you throw it to him. Car rides are interesting, he is a good boy, but lays kind of awkward with his head hanging off the seat along with his front paws. He seems ok with it, but it looks uncomfortable!! T-Bone loves human attention, and has the boxer wiggle when he is happy. He hasn't had any accidents, and will let you know when he wants to go out or if he is hungry with a whine. The crate has not been an issue, he will even go in on occasion on his own to hang out. When he wants to play he whacks you with his big paws, its sooo cute!!! T-Bone is a gorgeous BIG boxer boy. He currently lives in a rural environment where he gets to roam on a large property and keeps getting into trouble with porcupines. He lives with another dog and toddlers and is great with both. He is crate trained and house broken. Due to his habit of chasing smaller animals we will not place him in a home with cats and he would do best with a fenced in yard. He is a very active boy and will need a home where he will get lots of daily exercise. He is not used to being leash walked and will need some work in this area. He is very friendly, a big lover and very gentle for his size. |
