Ava & Rocco

Requirements for this dog:

Good with cats and older children

For more information on this pair of dogs please read  bio below.

3/10 Ava and Rocco are doing great!  The are VERY energetic and rambunctious especially when they first enter a house or someone comes to the house.  Rocco loves to jump a lot but Ava doesn't do it that much.  They are both very sweet and listen pretty well.  They are definitely inseparable and Ava doesn't do anything until Rocco has done it first and that includes eating.  They share the same bowl of food and water and sleep in the same crate together.  We took them to the pet store today and Rocco went pee on the floor but I think it was because he was excited.  They are ok with their commands but it could use some work and the seem to be ok with going the bathroom outside.  They need A LOT of work with their leash training and their forever home will need to work on that.  All in all, they are very loving and cuddly once they calm down and seem to be having no separation anxiety. Stayed two for more updates as they settle in at their foster home.

Ava (white spayed female) and Rocco (flashy fawn neutered male) are littermates that are coming into rescue as they currently spend too much time alone and crated and need a home where they will get more time and attention.  They are great with older kids and dog savvy cats, they have not been around other dogs too much but we will get a better idea of how they are with other dogs once we get the opportunity to evaluate them around other dogs.

These two are absolutely gorgeous and very sweet.  Rocco is the more dominate of the two, they are very bonded and we would really like to place them together.
