9/24 Honey is slowly starting to feel better and once she's healthy she'll be spayed. We've nicknamed her "Peanut" because she is so small, she weighs 38 pounds. She is very quiet...she hasn't barked or cried once the whole time she's been with us. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to go for walks. We feel blessed to be taking care of her. She is a love! She has a spunky personality, very independent. Honey is coming to us from an unfortunate situation where her living conditions were not very good, she was confined to a basement and lived in her own dirt. Fortunately for Honey a good Samaritan stepped in and now Honey is coming into rescue to find the home that she deserves. She is currently very underweight and has some bald patches which are probably from laying down on hard surfaces. But despite all this she is very sweet and even playful. Honey will be going to see our vet shortly to be spayed. Watch for updates once we secure a foster home and get to know this sweet girl some more. |
