Mojo is
truly a wonderful dog who would make a fantastic companion for
the right person. He loves and thrives on any kind of human attention
and really wants to be your best friend. Unfortunately, Mojo can not
stay with me because he has gotten into a few fights with one of my
other dogs. Because of this, I feel that he would be best off being in a
home where there are no other dogs.
Mojo loves attention so much that he seems to prefer to be with people
than with other dogs anyway, he would love your
undivided attention!
Although Mojo came to me with absolutely no training at all (he didn't
even know the "sit" command) he is so responsive and eager to please
that he will do pretty much anything I ask. I ask him to "wait" while I
put down his dinner and then tell him when he can go, I ask him to
follow me and he will, I ask him to go into his crate and he does so
immediately. If he needs to be gated out in the kitchen or somewhere,
even though he's not happy about it, he stays there willingly without
protest. He walks nicely on a leash, he's usually a little strong at
first because he's excited, but then falls into step once you get going
and with an occasional reminder. He does get a little excited if you
pass another dog however, but I think with more practice and some
obedience training this can
easily be overcome with him. When my fence
was being replaced earlier in the Summer, he was the only dog in my
household who I trusted to be out in my yard with me, without a leash,
he always stuck close to me and responded immediately when called. Mojo
is generally extremely mellow. He loves to go for a nice active walk, or
a run through a field, but he's just as happy to lie at my feet while
I'm cooking dinner or to lie beside me on the couch in the evenings. He
absolutely loves to sleep in my bed at night and is happy to wait for me
in the morning until I'm ready. Mojo has enjoyed free roam of my house
when I'm not home and I've never had the slightest issue with him.
Overall, Mojo is a great dog and one who just wants to love the people
in his life. He would thrive most in an environment where his people
spend time with him and where he is wanted as a true companion dog. This
dog really wants to be someone's best friend.
