8/25 Rocky is doing great in his foster home. My female girl was a little rough on him at first, but all seems to be well now. Rocky is a counter surfer a bit so the down command will need to be said to help him to learn we don’t do that. When people visit he does get very excited and jumps all over the place but has been very friendly with every one he meets. He was fed once a day , but I 'm doing 2 small meals a day and he loves it! I have 3 children which he loves to be with and play. Rocky is a small guy but a cutie! He does his business outside so far except for the day he came did pee in the house but I think that was all nerves, he’s been great ever since. Rocky can not be crated as he hates it and will try to break out so the first time we left him alone we made sure nothing was out on the counters and put the trash up for good measure he was fine when we got home. Rocky is learning not to pull on the leash so we have put a harness on him and he’s much better he does walk with us now instead of ahead of us. Rocky is a great boy whose tail is constantly wagging he’s good with dogs and humans. He knows how to sit lie down and give a high five! He has been sleeping in our room at night and is doing great. All in all rocky is a great boy.
Rocky is a very sweet peanut of a boxer, only 44 lbs. Good with other dogs loves to play and has lots of energy. He could do with some work on his manners, but over all he is a very nice boy. He is used to a fenced in yard and someone who is home most of the day with him so that would be good in his new home. He is not fond of the crate and will break out. Watch for updates once we secure a foster home and get to know Rocky. |
