1/8 Happy New Year!!!  Bailey here! I have learned so much in my foster home.  My foster brother taught me that I cannot have his food, and that if I am patient and wait for Mom, she will give me my VERY OWN food. I like that a lot! I have even been able to eat with my family this week, and I like that too.  I learned that when the kids are running around, I do not have to be scared, I just need to get out of their way! When I figured that out, I also figured out that running around with the kids is really fun!  Oh, and another thing is, if I eat my special blanket, then I can't have it. I have also learned to really turn on the charm when I want something. :)  All I have to do is sit real pretty, and put on my sad eyes, and Mom pets me or gives me a treat.  YUM! If you have the chance, you should try chicken breast strips dried with parsley and mint, they are very tasty.

Well that's it for now!  I hope to meet you soon!

Love BIG Bailey

12/27 Hi, Bailey here! I LOVE my foster home! Here, I have a fenced in yard, fur friends, kid friends, great food, lots of water and some nice warm blankets! All the things a boy like me needs!

At first when I came here, I did not much like my fur friends. I just did not know what they wanted from me. But NOW I know, they want to PLAY! I love playing!

You want to know what I love more though, cuddling. :)

I am learning how to share my "stuff" with my people and fur friends, so I think it would be best to live in a home with older children. I am housebroken, I love my crate as long as my special blanket is in there, I know a lot of basic commands.

If you take me home, with some patience while I learn to trust you, I will be your best friend!

12/17

Hi Bailey here!

Yikes, have you ever seen SO MUCH SNOW?  This weekend, I learned all about playing in the snow! My fur and kid friends taught me how to dig, and hop around in the snow.  I was a little shy at first, but MAN I had a great time when I figured it out. My foster dad made a maze in the back yard for us to play in.  I loved playing hide a seek in the maze. My foster mom laughed an laughed at me...
As much fun as the snow is, though, I would rather be inside where it is warm.

This morning, I met the cat. Who even cares about that cat anyway.  He tried to claw me, and bite me and he made a bunch of noise. I think that cat is crazy.  I just looked at him. I did not even try to sniff him. I figure, playing with my people and my new friends is way more interesting.

Won't you take me home with you?  I am a very loving boy and I just love being loved in return!

12/3 Bailey has arrived at his foster home and is slowly settling in.  He is on the smaller side for a male, but he has great body condition and he has the CUTEST little face ever-perpetual happiness. He is also a great wiggler and kisser!

Bailey has taken nicely to crate training and enters his crate without any issue.  He stays there all night, without a peep!  He LOVES adult people, especially men.  He is truly happy when his foster dad is with him.  Bailey has a nervous personality.  Loud noises, running children and other dogs make him very insecure.  It is because of this that I think a home with older children and either a dog his age or no dog would be the best fit for him.

We have a fenced in yard and I think this is the first time that Bailey has ever gotten the chance to run and he really likes it.  His forever home will need a fenced in area for him to stretch his legs.

Look for more updates on Bailey!

Bailey is coming into rescue due to a change in his current home which has resulted in him spending extended periods alone.  He needs a home where he will get more attention and plenty of exercise.  He is not crate trained and does not do well in a crate at all but is fine left home alone in a dog proof area of the house, provided he is not left too long.  Bailey can jump a 4ft fence so he will need a 6ft fence and to always be supervised in the yard.  He is a very sweet friendly boy, a little timid, loves other dogs and might do best in a home with another dog for company.

Watch for more updates once we secure a foster home and get to know Bailey more.
