3/24 Casper is doing really well. At this time I am trying
to put a little weight on him. I feel he could use a
few lbs. Casper has been getting alone with my dog
well since our little incident. All has been well. I
did show Casper a cat through the window and he got
really excited, I am a little apprehensive about
allowing him to have contact with them. He may be fine
after he gets over the initial excitement. I will take
it slow with him. My moms cat can be a little
dominating so I will think of both of them in this
situation. Casper does well with the other dogs as
long as I supervise and keep on him about some things,
like sharing attention, and getting in the trash. That
has been a small issue lately. I need to watch him
around the trash can he steals stuff out of it.. I do
crate him at night and when ever I have to leave the
house. I feel it is in his best interest. I can see
that he would love to take a long run out side he has
some spring fever. He went out once not on leash,( I
didn't realize the clip had gotten stuck open) but he
listened well and came right over to me. I was very
pleased by this seeing that he has not been out with
out a leash. over all we are working very hard on some
of the things that he could use some work with. he is
learning better leash manners and some basic commands.

2/17 Casper is a very loving pup. We all love him up here. He is excellent with all of the kids that have been around from age 1 to age 11. He loves to sit on the couch and watch tv with them when ever he gets the chance. As far as other dogs go, I feel that he may do a bit better as an only dog he does play a bit with my dog but he really does not seam to care if any other pets are around. I have had a few tangles with him and my golden. They seam fine most of the time but there are a few occasions that they do not get along. Usually over attention or a food issue. I do find that Casper does well loose in the house alone. I do not leave him loose in the house with my dog when I have to leave. He is doing well in his crate after a few barks he calms down and takes a nap. I have not had him interact with any cats, we did have a cat at the front door and he got excited and barked a bit. I do feel that Casper will make someone a wonderful pet he is very patient and extremely loving. He would just be so happy to have someone to curl up with all day long. The girls love to take him out for walks and to play in the snow, he loves to play catch with snow balls. He can be a very entertaining dog. I feel that he does need a bit of work with other pets and some basic manners (on leash). But he is a very fast learner and tries his best to please.

1/28 Casper is doing great. He does have some issues when we give Cooper attention he get upset and will go after Cooper. I have been working on this. Other than that he is an absolute great dog to the kids he loves my 4 year old. He is a great family dog and just loves all the kids.

1/1 Last night we had a big new years party and Casper was the life of it. He loved the disco ball very funny to watch him he stared at it for hours and even tried to jump up at it ha-ha. He was very well mannered and made sure he visited everyone that came. He loved all the attention. He is getting along very well with all the girls (mine and there friends) he seems to be very good with them and loves all the attention. I still watch him when they are around because he can play a bit rough, just jumping up. The only issue I seem to have with him is that he does not like to be left alone,, and shows some aggression to my dog around the food dish even though they eat far apart. We will work on it. It is a family joke around here that he is my white shadow!!!  he even follows be to the bathroom and waits at the door. he is a good boy and is doing well here.

12/31 Getting to know Casper a bit better. he does seam to have a little separation anxiety, not to bad he does not like being in his crate. he tore up his blanket when I put him in it so i could run to the store. but on a good note, he is doing well with the kids he can play rough sometimes and I am watching him close. at times he gets upset if my other dog is getting attention and may snap at him. I am trying to let him understand they both can have attention at the same time but it will take some work. I took him out plowing today he loves the snow. we toss snow balls up for him and he loves it. he is a lot of fun and is fitting in well just a few quirks to work on but then again no one is perfect. I took some more pics of him some with the kids. he loves any attention he can get. He can ham it up well with all his toys so all is well.

12/30 Casper arrived at his foster home yesterday and is settling in well, he has met his foster brother and they are getting along great.  Watch for more updates.

Casper is an energetic male boxer.  He is very sweet and friendly and gets very excited to meet new people. He is used to living with other dogs and loves to play and would be best placed in a home with another canine companion.  He is crate trained but also does well with free roam in a dog proof area of the house.

Watch for more updates once we secure a foster home and get to know Casper some more.
