7/18 Kashuz is doing great he's one of the pack. He spends a lot of time with the new deaf puppy and if I need the puppy to come in I can send kashuz to get him. We took them all to the forest the other day and kashuz stays with us but he dances around me when it's time to go back on the leash. I have to work with him about coming when called. He is a great dog and is very gentle even when playing with the big dogs he has a very soft mouth.  Well I値l write again soon. Here is a photo of kashuz and his foster brother beau.

7/2Kashuz is doing great he loves the new puppy and they chase each other around all the time. He has eaten 4 photos albums but its my fault after the first smart people would have put them where he can't get them. So I just keep putting the photos in the new albums. Oh well keeps me busy I知 sending you a picture of Kash with the puppy Zeke and my big girl Bella . These three are the one that hang out most of the time all three are rescue dogs so may be that痴 why they feel close. He does play with my other two but i think their rougher so he stays with these two.

6/19 Kashuz is doing great. I had to change his food he just stopped eating the timber wolf. I thought he was sick but he just didn't want to eat it. So off to the store I went I can't let him not eat for very long I can't let him lose weight. I found a food called merrick which I was told was a good food and he seems to like it (crossed fingers) I feel that he's just one of those thin dogs his coat is very soft and shiny and he has great muscle tone he's just built different from my dogs who are shorter and fuller he's tall and thin but not unhealthy thin. He is very active. I get up at 4:30 and walk two dogs at a time for 2 miles so that before i leave for work they can have their walk. Kashuz is doing good on these walks but he wants to  go see every dog he sees so we're working on him leaving them alone he has mastered sitting on every corner as long as he's paying attention because he wants to see everything. Kashuz loves lying on the deck in the sun I致e tried to get a picture of the four big dogs lying side by side in the sun but they always seem to know I知 watching and come to the window. He plays allot with the kids in the yard he wants to be in the sand box with my grand daughter. He's doing really well and I do think he's happy.

6/9 Kashuz is doing great his coat is so shiny I think he's putting on some weight not much but I was looking at him this morning and he seem a little more full. Either way he's great. Every morning he comes to the side of my bed and looks at me with that beautiful face he wants his ears rubbed. I had to ban all of them from my bed it was a bit much with four boxers  so I went out and bought them all new beds and he loves his new bed the other morning Kashuz and my girl Bobbi were sleeping together. He is also very fond of my girl Bella sometimes I have to stop those two they can really raise hellk Kshuz was playing with my granddaughter and grand son the other afternoon they were under the coffee table and kash would crawl up to them and when they would come out he would back up it was pretty funny to watch them he was acting so silly. I still won't let him out when their on the trampoline because he goes after their feet and I知 afraid he'll get hurt if their jumping. Well that it for now we'll write again soon. He is a great dog there just are no words to tell you what a good friend he really is we all love him.

6/2 Kashuz is lying under my desk at work. He loves to come in and see everyone. He's doing great. We're working on his staying in his crate when I知 not home. He barks allot while I知 gone my daughter who lives upstairs from me said she has come down and told him to stop a couple times. What I知 going to do is put his crate in the room with my other dogs so he won't feel alone we'll see if this helps. I never leave him for more than a couple hours even when I知 working. I go home and let all of them out every couple of hours and there are some days where my other daughter is home and their out and about all day. I had left him lose in the house but he got in a little trouble nothing major but enough that he need to stay in his crate when no one is home. His leash walking is getting much better and he is sitting on every corner now without being told.

5/26 I just wanted to keep you informed about kashuz. He was very thin when I got him but the vet said he was fine he's very tall. I think he has lost more weight but I think it is because he went from old roy food to the timber wolf and ground chicken and sweet potatoes which I make instead of canned food ,I noticed the same thing happen when i changed my dogs over they slim down and build lean muscle. Plus he loves to run in the yard with my girl bobbi they chase each other all over the place. Yesterday the four of them dug a hole in the center of the yard and they all had their heads in it but when I tried to get a picture of them they all came running to me . It was pretty funny they all had their butts and stubs in the air with their heads in the hole. Kashuz loves to lie on top of my girl Bella they sleep like that allot sometimes i find him and my youngest dog beau wrapped around each other on my bed sound asleep their pretty funny. I call kash my bone boy he looks like a greyhound. I really can't say anything bad about him he's really a great boy who should have a great forever home where he can be the center of attention.

5/17 I do feel he needs another dog to play with he is not dominant so either a male or female would be good he loves to play. He also loves kids he has played with my three grand children 8,4 and 1. But most of all he needs attention someone to love him walk him take him with them he doesn't like to be left for long periods of time. Eight hours alone is far too much for him. He does good in the crate but would rather not stay there. He sleeps on my bed or on the couch he wants someone to be his, he likes to sleep on the sofa and watch TV at night he's a real people dog so if you can find someone who won't leave him alone all the time and make him part of there life that would be perfect make sure there a dog person. I guess you can tell I really like him.

5/11 Kashuz is doing great he has been using the crate and there have been no accidents I think he was just a little unsettled. I have no idea why anyone would not want this dog he is great. He loves to play with the kids and he is so very gentle with my year old grand daughter. She can taken toys away from him and he doesn't care. He loves my crew and they play all the time. At night he sleeps on a blanket on the floor or on my bed if there痴 room. He's getting better in the car and right now he is at work with me. He wanders the halls here at the police station just visiting with every one they all want him. His leash walking is getting better each time we go out he's even learning to sit at each corner. I think he loves all the activity and attention he's getting and I think he would do good with another dog as his play mate (at least one) he a real people dog.

5/7 He's been with us now for 4 days and he now has his place in the pack. What a good dog. There have been no more accidents but I知 not putting him in his crate. He does just fine I leave mine in their crate and he just sleeps on my bed while we're gone. He loves the kids and plays well with both kids and dogs. I don't think he can get enough playing. When I picked him up on Sunday he was a little uneasy in the car but I致e been taking him out with me so he's doing real good now. I took him to work with me today so he could meet all kinds of people and he was great with every one. He's been going for walks with my three dogs and he's doing pretty good on the leash still needs some work but it's only been a couple of days. I think he loves just being a dog.

5/6 Well we made it through the night. Kashuz is doing great. He met my grandchildren and some of their friends and all were great. I slowly introduced him to my three knuckleheads one at a time and there was no problems. He can't seem to get enough of playing but I知 sure they'll all calm down in the next few days when they realize he's going to be around for a while. He didn't want to eat and he had two accidents in his crate when left there for less then half an hour but i think it was stress he wouldn't go pee the whole time he was playing. He really didn't want to be in his crate last night so i thought the best way for us all to get any sleep was for the three stooges to sleep in their crate and he slept with me on my bed. I watched him and i could see that he was hearing all the different noises both inside and outside of the house he'll relax in a few days . He doesn't walk well on a leash but we're going for a walk this morning and we're going to work on it a little .he so good I don't see any problems that time won't fix. I'll write again soon and send pictures.

Kashuz has arrived into rescue.  He was spending too much time alone in his previous home and not getting the exercise he needs.  He is good with other dogs, and cats.  Housebroken and crate trained.  He is also used to having a fenced in yard. We will update you more as we get to know him.
