Rocky

6 Year Old Neutered Male Boxer, Good with Other Dogs & Kids

Although you may not be able to adopt this dog, you can help us care for him while he is in foster care! Even a donation of $5 will help us with vet care, food, etc.

3/26 - Hi - I'm Rocky.  I have been in my foster home for almost two weeks now.  I was kind of blue when I first got here but I feel much, much better now.  I love people, kids, other dogs, cats - you name it! I'm really easy going and love to hang out with my foster family.  My foster mom takes me on long walks every day and it's already helped with my figure. Don't let that little bit of gray around my muzzle fool you, I can keep up with the best!  I recently went to the Vet's and the Vet determined I have a thyroid condition which really easy to manage.  My low thyroid levels may have contributed to my patchy fur, my slightly chunky figure and a little of my laziness.  I take a couple of little pills each day and I already feel better.  I would make a wonderful companion and a great addition to any family.

Rocky is an absolute sweetheart. He walks well on a leash and also knows some basic commands.  Rocky loves other dogs, he can be curious around cats but has never hurt a cat so would probably do fine with a dog savvy cat.   He is housebroken, he was crate trained when he was younger but no longer needs a crate.  He will make some lucky person a wonderful companion.

Watch for updates once we find Rocky a foster home and get to know him better.
