4/28 - Update

Hi everyone just wanted to update everyone on how I am doing. First I want to let everyone know that even though I am a senior I don't act like it except for the fact that I like to sleep. My dad likes to tease me that I am in the "senior spotlight" but everyone who meets me doesn't think I am a senior. My foster mom took me to the Boston Marathon to watch and everyone came over, even the runners, to tell me what a beautiful dog I am and how I was so well behaved because I just sat there and watched.  My foster mom says I am the biggest lap dog she has ever seen. When she is trying to study I come over and sit in the chair with her and let her rest her books on me! She also says I am very well behaved dog. I don't have accidents in the house, I am not destructive. She says she doesn't know about other dogs I have my days sometimes where I love dogs and then there are times where I only get along with certain dogs, but we have made some friends in the park. Mom thinks I would be better in home with a female dog or submissive male dog. Because I am little older I like to be left alone sometimes so a dog that doesn't want to play all the time would be best for me. Mom took me running for the first time with her. She put me on her running leash and I was a very good dog I stayed with her the whole time! We are working on my bicycle problem sometimes I like to jump at bicycles so my mom and I are working on that. Oh mom says I do very well with kids too. She says a forever home with older kids wouldn't be a problem because I love kids and like to give them kisses. Well I am going to go take a nap now I am will update my pictures soon because those pictures don't do me any justice.

4/14 - Update

HI everyone,  I just wanted to let you know I am doing very well in my foster home with my new mom and dad. I really like it here. I get to sleep on the couch all day and in the morning when dad leaves for work mom lets me snuggle in bed with her , but shhh don't tell dad I do that. I really like to go outside. I even do this little dance because I get so excited when I hear the word "outside". I really have no interest in all the toys mom has here I would just rather sit on her couch all day. I listen very well to my mommy and can do some basic commands. Mom put a harness on my because I am so tall that all I did was pull her, but now since we have a harness on I do much better on our walks. Mom loves my tail, I love when mom is at the computer I come over to her and put my head on her lap and wait for her to pet me. At night I like to put mom and dad to bed I walk them to their room and then once they are in bed I go back to my bed. I am very good when left alone in the house I don't have any accidents and I am not destructive. I really like moms new bed its so comfortable. Mom says I need a bath and my teeth clean BUT I am just not ready for that yet. Well mom told me she is going to take me outside now.

3/31 - Tyson is the perfect dog, he loves everyone and gets along with everyone including other dogs and cats. Tyson is approximately 7-8 years old.  He was surrendered to a shelter when his Dad died suddenly and this Mom was having to leave him and the 5 other dogs in the home for long periods of time.

Tyson is a big boy and even has his tail.  He is house broken and crate trained. Watch this space for updates on this guy as his foster Mom gets to know him.
