Daisy (re-named from Aretha) has made our family very happy. Our last dog of 13 years died last summer and we were extremely sad. Daisy has brought so much joy back into our home. She is the PERFECT dog for our active boys. Our two boys absolutely adore her and Daisy is crazy over them. The three of them love to play. She likes to begin the day by dragging their blanket off them, jumping in their beds and licking them until they are wide awake. She sleeps half the night in the boys’ room and the other half in our room (in her fancy bed with blanket). Daisy has almost as many toys as the boys do however if she becomes bored with her toys she grabs one of their toys so they will chase her around the house. She is very mischievous and loves a good chase!

She loves to run around in her large fenced in yard and bark at the deer that are in our woods. In the warmer weather, my husband and I would jog with her through our neighborhood. She attended all our sons’ football practices and games. She is a devoted fan.

She loves when the boys’ friends visit and they include her in their games. Thanksgiving and Christmas were super holidays. She really enjoyed her turkey and ham dinners and all her presents. Her great grandmother bought her a winter coat so she would not get cold during her walks. Her grandparents bought her a big box of dog bones. Our boys gave her a 2- foot long bone. It is very funny to see her drag this huge bone around the house hitting walls in the process. When she is not playing with the boys she enjoys lounging on one of the recliners in the family room. She is just a “little spoiled.” Daisy has quite happily settled into her home and she truly knows we are just “crazy over Daisy”.
