King/Yoda

Dear Boxer Buddies:

I want to share my story with all who love boxers an are looking for the perfect companion.

My human son, Michael, first introduced me to boxers. He adopted (from the MSPCA) a big german boxer boy named "Horace". I fell in love with boxers and their "I am human, I'm just in a dog's body" attitude. Unfortunately, I lost my Horace in December. I was a pathetic sight. Crying all the time and just heart broken. I'm sure most of you out there have known that empty feeling inside, have felt that your heart is just breaking in pieces because you just miss your friend so much.

Penny knows my story. She matched me up with a friend she thought would be perfect for me. His name was King. He had shared a home with a little aggressive dog and was an owner surrender. Penny actually drove King down to my home in the middle of a snow storm on February 4, 2000.

I was thrilled to have such a beautiful boxer boy. He is such a good looking animal, but let me tell you, looks are nothing compared to the wonderful personality my boy has. Our friendship continues to grow and I don't know what I would do without him. He honestly is my best friend. I never leave home without him. He follows me in the house, he sleeps on the bed (when my husband is not home at night), he watches TV on my lap, he is my protector. Yes, I spoil him rotten and in turn he spoils me with love and big boxer kisses!! I just love my boy to pieces and I am so happy to have him in my life. Horace's memory lives on every day in Yoda. Those looks, those boxer wiggles, and all that boxer love.

Thank you Penny and Sue for a perfect match. You two have a sixth sense when it comes to matching people to boxer. You will always have my friendship and respect and I will be forever in your debt....Cheryl Black (Yoda's mom)...........
