Syrus
Well it has been about two years since my Mom has
given an update on me, so I wanted to sneak on and tell you all how great I am
doing. I am such a good boy. I love my "fur" sister
Shelby (3 years old) and my "skin" sister Hannah (2 1/2
years old). We all get along so well. Hannah likes to ride me like
horse sometimes, cause I weigh about 98 pounds... I know, I'm a BIG boy, but
my Mom says there is just more of me to love. I am a lap dog, even
though Mom and Dad tell me I'm too big. I love attention and I get TONS
of it!! I'd rather be cuddled with, than play (maybe that's why I'm
getting a little round at the mid section). My Mom has been really busy,
she has been volunteering with Boxer Buddies since she got me. She loves
to help other dogs that come from situations like mine. I
didn't think I would ever know the love of a family. I was out on my own
(they called me a stray), I was really sick and I didn't get to eat for a very
long time. Then the nice people at Boxer Buddies took me in and I stayed
with a really nice foster family for awhile. They took care of me
until I found my Mom. Now I'm where I belong. I get love and
attention every day, I have a warm bed to sleep in (right in-between Mom
and Dad) and I get to eat every day. I am so proud of Mom for taking
care of other dogs that need help, too. Without people like the
volunteers that Mom works with, I wouldn't be here right now. Well
I got to run, I think Mom is coming and I need to blame Hannah for putting the
drool on the computer. Talk to you all soon.
Good Morning, I just wanted to give an update on a dog that I have adopted from Boxer Buddies. I would like this to be placed into the "Where Are They Now" link so everyone can see what a good boy I have and maybe more people will consider adoption. My boy's name is Syrus and he is currently under the "Happy Tails" link. First, I want to thank everyone at boxer buddies for giving me such a wonderful boy. He is such a cuddle bug. He thinks he is small enough to be a lap dog, he doesn't understand that he might be just a little to big weighing close to 70 pounds. He is so good with our other boxer Shelby. They love to box each other and rough-house, and he is SO good with my six month old daughter Hannah. She thinks he is so funny and squeals every time he gives her big Syrus kisses. He loves to have puppy play dates with other dogs. I can't tell you how wonderful he is. He is such a wonderful addition to our home and to our lives. He keeps us laughing. Even when I have a bad day, I can count on Syrus to comfort me by cuddling and giving me kisses and then he will make me laugh by doing something silly (like doing his little boxer dance). Again, thank you sooo much for giving me the privilege of being Syrus' forever mom. Tiah & Family |
