Boxer Buddies Rescue is excited to announce our first annual 5K (3 mile) walk on September 5, 2009. The “Wiggle Butt Walk” is for all dogs and their owners to lend a paw or hand to help raise funds to provide food, shelter and medical care such as spay or neuter surgeries, vaccinations and a safe place to live until they have found their forever homes.  Although we are a Boxer Rescue, we WELCOME all breeds of dogs, as long as they are friendly and love to walk. 

  The “Wiggle Butt Walk” will take place at Hopkinton State Park ~ located at 268 Cedar Street

Boxer Buddies has rented out the Split Rock Group area for this event.   The event will take place from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (registration check-in) is between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  Walkers are encouraged to walk at their own pace and enjoy the afternoon with their Wiggle Butts.  We will have the walk marked carefully with signs and will have water and snack/treat stations at every mile marker for both you and your Wiggle Butt.  All walkers must conclude their walks and sign out at the registration area by 4:00 pm.    This event is scheduled to take place rain or shine, so please check out your local weather forecast the day before the event to be sure you dress accordingly and comfortably.

The registration donation for this walk is $10.00 per person/dog.  You will receive a Wiggle Butt Walk Awareness Bracelet at registration the day of the event.

If you think you are up for the challenge, In addition to walking, you can raise awareness and additional donations for Boxer Buddies Rescue by having your friends, family and co-workers sponsor you on the walk.  

    We have three levels of Sponsor donations for this event:                                           

• If you raise $25.00 in sponsor donations, you will receive an Awareness Bracelet and a T-shirt.

• If you raise $50.00 in sponsor donations, you will receive an Awareness Bracelet, T-Shirt and raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift at the event.

• If you raise $75.00 in sponsor donations, you will receive an Awareness Bracelet, T-shirt, and Carrying  Pack with a Collapsible Water Dish for your Wiggle Butt and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift at the event.

The walker that raises the most sponsor donations will win an Apple IPOD NANO!

How to Register                                                     

If You Just Want To Walk With Your Wiggle Butt:

To register just for the walk, you must do so ON-LINE or you can register on the day of the walk.

To Take The Wiggle Butt Challenge:
